From emotional testimony writing to meeting elected representatives face-to-face, this full-circle journey with United Farm Workers has been nothing short of surreal.

I got coffee with my 5-year-old self today—she wore her magic kitty shirt and sipped mango juice while I told her about the woman we’re becoming. I reminded her that we are smart, kind, and enough, and she reminded me of the little girl who dreamed big in two languages.
